ThirdVoice
Software that allows you to comment on any word or phrase on any site on the web, and read what others have written too! Allows for easy messaging and communication and discussion on specific parts of a website. Note: This is a newer company, and their software still needs some work- try it out, but you may want to uninstall later! Its a good idea, but needs some more work
AOL Instant Messenger
AOL IM is probably the best messenging software out there. Even for those not on AOL, this software allows you to have a buddy list and chat real time over the internet to anybody. Its quick, easy and FREEE. Especially great to use with your friends in the US.
Yahoo Messenger
Basically the same idea as AOL's, but not quite as refined, although the voice chat feature is very nice, even if the little delay. Another good tool to use to talk with friends elsewhere in the world.
DialPad
This is the greatest site on the internet. Without, really, having to download anything you can talk, for FREE, to anybody in the United States of America! Its FREE, which is incredibly nice, and while you talk through your computer on a microphone, the receiving friend only needs a phone, not even a computer. Compared to other services, the sound quality is good, however there is a slight delay which can be hard to get used to, and with certain sound setups the person on the other end will probably hear an echo. Small price to pay for FREE CALLS TO THE USA!!!
